My top 5 Black Friday 2024 deals

This is an overview from Black Week 2024. Who isn’t overwhelmed by all the deals during Black Week? That’s why I’m giving you exactly five very personal recommendations. Four of them are tech, one is not, for once. I looked for real price crashes.

1. Xiaomi 14T: the smartphone deal

Ad: I already reviewed the 14T Pro. For me, the 14T is the real value-for-money bargain.

2. ESR: MagSafe accessories

Ad: From ESR, I recommend these products:

• G2 power bank with MagSafe: It comes with 5,000 or 10,000 mAh. It’s small and slim and has a stand on the back. The iPhone charges at 15 watts and stays upright while doing so.
• MagSafe charger with CryoBoost: A small fan cools the phone so that it doesn’t get hot and charges faster. I installed it in my car.
• 3-in-1 charging station: iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods charge at the same time, here too with CryoBoost cooling.

3. Sony Alpha ZV-E10

Ad: This is the camera I’m filming with right now. In my videos, I’m often asked about the good video quality. The RRP is €799. You can attach interchangeable lenses and film in 4K. I think it’s really well suited for hobby photographers, YouTube channels or Instagram.

4. Sony WH-1000XM5

Ad: I’m often asked about good over-ear headphones with noise cancelling. The Sony WH-1000XM5 I can only recommend. They normally cost €419 and are rarely discounted.

5. The tip without tech: Chogan perfume

Ad: Chogan has license agreements with the big perfume manufacturers that produce fragrance essences. You get the same fragrance essences, just without the brand name, at the purchase price. These are the original scents, not dupes. This is how ordering works:

1. Find the scent in the list from the video description and note the order number.
2. On the Chogan website, enter the number in the search field.
3. Choose the size: 3 ml as a sample, 15 ml as a pocket perfume, and also 35, 50 and 100 ml.

As an example, I’ll mention number 213 with 100 ml for €30. I bought a Louis Vuitton scent myself that costs almost €400 in the store, and paid only a fraction of that. I wear it every day, and my husband got one too. Chogan also has makeup, essential oils, skincare products and accessories.

Verdict

My tip of tips is the last one. Nobody has to buy a designer perfume for Christmas, save yourself the money and buy a new smartphone instead.
