How do you create a reminder from a Samsung note?

In the note, tap the three dots at the top right, choose Add to and create a reminder. It opens in Samsung Reminder and is linked to the note.

Step by step

  1. Open the note in Samsung Notes.
  2. Tap the three dots at the top right.
  3. Choose Add to and create a reminder. Samsung Reminder opens.
  4. Enter the time in Reminder, for example today at 3 p.m.
  5. Jump from the reminder straight to the linked note.

This helps if you jot down tasks with deadlines in a meeting and don’t want to type them into a calendar. According to Jen, Samsung Reminder is a free app that comes preinstalled on all Galaxy devices.
