How do you install the One UI 9 beta on the Galaxy S26?

In short

You need a device from the Galaxy S26 series. In the Members app, register for the One UI beta under Beta program, then download it.

Step by step

Use a Samsung device from the S26 series, so an S26, S26 Plus or S26 Ultra. Other devices are not offered the beta.
Sign in with your Samsung account.
Open the Members app.
Tap Beta program.
Register there for the One UI beta for the S26.
Download the beta version.

A beta is not finished, so errors can occur and not everything runs smoothly. Jen didn’t notice any major errors in her test, and she could keep using the phone normally. The official version is due later in the summer.

Press and hold the New button at the bottom right, choose Template, pick a format and category, and create the note. Later you can change it via the three dots and Note style.

How do I unlock my smartphone with the Galaxy Watch 8?

In the settings under Lock screen, Extend Unlock, add the Galaxy Watch 8 as a trusted device. Then the phone stays unlocked as long as you wear the watch.
