How do I adjust the touch gesture sensitivity on the Pixel?

In the settings under System, Gestures, open the touch gesture settings and lower the sensitivity on the right and left.

Step by step

  1. Open the Settings and tap System.
  2. Choose Gestures and then Gestures and motions.
  3. Open System navigation and tap Touch gesture settings.
  4. Set the touch gesture sensitivity for the right and for the left.
  5. Set the sensitivity lower if the gesture triggers too often. Jen set the right side to the lowest level.

While swiping through photos or on Instagram, Jen accidentally triggered the back gesture and, in the worst case, left the app. She got the tip that the sensitivity and the size of the area can be adjusted from the comments on her last video.
