Verdict in brief

For Jen, CES 2026 shows one thing above all: technology is becoming more personal and fits more seamlessly into everyday life. Her highlights are Samsung's 10-inch trifold, the RingConn Gen 3 with blood pressure measurement on the finger, and AI glasses that look like normal glasses.

CES in Las Vegas is an absolute tech overkill every year, but this year was something very special for me: I was there live for the first time! Amid all the blinking and glittering, I went looking for the most exciting CES 2026 highlights for you. I deliberately focused on the gadgets that have so far flown more “under the radar” but could have a huge impact on our lives.

Samsung: the future is foldable and bezel-free

Although Samsung is no underdog, the new trifold smartphone was one of my absolute favorites. It’s surprisingly thin and unfolds to a gigantic 10 inches. For my mobile office, that would be the absolute game changer! Even though it isn’t confirmed for the European market yet, it shows where foldables are headed.

Another visual spectacle was the new bezel-less TV. Samsung managed to pull the display over the edges so that the physical frame disappears completely. Combined with the new 130-inch Micro RGB model, it’s pure cinema feeling. There was a surprise for gamers too: a 3D monitor with 6K resolution that works without glasses. The picture quality was so immersive that you almost forgot you were just sitting in front of a screen.

Smart rings: health tracking on a new level

You know I’m a self-confessed smart ring fan. That’s why the RingConn Gen 3 is definitely one of my most important CES 2026 highlights. The big sensation: it’s supposed to receive certification as a medical device this year and be able to measure blood pressure right on the finger.

For everyone who needs to keep an eye on their health, that’s a revolution. The ring also has a small vibration motor that warns you about readings that are too high or wakes you silently in the morning. Once the device is available, I’ll of course do a detailed long-term review for you on jenlovestech.de.

Lifestyle and personal care: high-tech in the bathroom

The Laifen booth impressed me in particular. The new Wave Pro toothbrush is the world’s first to combine oscillation and vibration. That sounds technical, but in everyday life it means: your teeth are automatically brushed the way dentists recommend, without you having to master the technique yourself. The high-quality design in stainless steel or in the transparent black version fits a modern lifestyle perfectly.

In addition, Laifen presented new oscillating shavers (P3 Pro and T1 Pro). These are CNC-milled from a single piece of aluminum. It’s exactly this combination of extremely high-quality feel and real usefulness that I love about modern technology.

AI and smart helpers: between fascination and skepticism

Artificial intelligence was of course present everywhere. The new Timekettle W4 Translator Buds, for example, use “Bone Conduction AI”. What’s said is picked up through the facial bones, which makes translation possible in loud environments like the trade fair in the first place. I was able to chat fluently with a Chinese colleague with them: she spoke Chinese, I spoke German.

Things get wild in the household too:

  • Roborock: A robot vacuum that vacuums the stairs at the same time as it climbs the steps.
  • Mova: A robot that gets flown to the next floor by drone. Next level or gimmick? The everyday test will show.
  • Humanoids: The humanoid robots that can cook, clean and even dance were omnipresent. It’s fascinating to see how fast this development is moving, even if the thought of a robot as a “family member” still takes some getting used to.

My personal verdict on the show

These CES 2026 highlights clearly show: technology is becoming ever more personal and integrates more seamlessly into our lives. The new AI glasses in particular, which now look like completely normal, stylish glasses, will be with us intensively this year. They let you watch movies, navigate or have information right in your field of view, without having to wear a bulky VR headset.

Which of these gadgets surprised you the most? Let me know in the comments. I’m curious about your opinion!
