Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

What does Jen say about the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra?

The Galaxy S21 Ultra is quickly set up. Face recognition and the larger fingerprint sensor work very fast, and Jen finds the S Pen support very comfortable. From now on she uses the device as her daily driver.

Pros

  • Very fast face recognition
  • Larger fingerprint sensor that unlocks instantly
  • S Pen support for tapping, writing and taking notes
  • Dual SIM capable, also with eSIM

Cons

  • The S Pen cannot be used as a remote, no gestures and no self-timer
  • The factory-applied screen protector does not last long

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

What does Jen say about the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra?

After a year, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has become a real flagship for Jen, even after a bumpy start. In January 2023 she does not consider it outdated. If you want to save money, wait for the S23 series to launch, as the price should drop afterward.

Pros

  • Razor-sharp and very bright display
  • A camera that makes photos and videos fun
  • Fits well in the hand despite its size thanks to the curved display edges
  • Built-in S Pen, for example for signing documents

Cons

  • Bumpy start: it stuttered, froze, and video recording was not possible at first
  • The Exynos processor caused the performance problems, which were only fixed by many updates
  • Curved displays are not for everyone
