Honor Magic V2
What does Jen say about the Honor Magic V2?
For Jen, the HONOR Magic V2 is an excellent foldable and much-needed competition for Samsung. Thin, light, with a large inner display and a strong battery. The stylus not being available, Android 13 without an update, and the €1,999 RRP are the criticisms. With an update to Android 14, she would have bought it for herself.
Pros
- At 9.9 mm closed and 231 g, the thinnest foldable Jen has ever held
- Large 7.92-inch inner display, crease almost invisible in everyday use
- Outer display in a comfortable 20:9 format, up to 2,500 nits bright
- Two days of battery life, 66-watt charging in under an hour
- Case with kickstand included
- Magic OS with extras like expandable folders and Parallel Space
Cons
- Stylus support is there, but the stylus is not available in Germany
- Still Android 13, no update to Android 14 as of the test
- At €1,999 RRP, utterly unrealistic according to Jen, €500 more than the Z Fold 5
- Last year's processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Honor Magic V3
What does Jen say about the Honor Magic V3?
For Jen, the Honor Magic V3 is the first foldable that is truly two full-fledged devices in one: thin, light, with a big battery and top-notch tech. Criticism goes to the face unlock, the button layout and the stylus, which is not available in Germany.
Pros
- A normal 6.43-inch smartphone on the outside, a 7.92-inch display on the inside
- Big 5,150 mAh battery that lasts all day
- Thinner and lighter than its predecessor, wireless charging, water resistant
- Three main cameras with good results
- Case with a kickstand included
Cons
- Face unlock keeps unlocking the device
- The volume button switches sides when you unfold it
- The stylus is not officially available in Germany
- Very expensive at an RRP of €1,999
