With GBox, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro is, for Jen, a serious and, for its display size, cheaper alternative to Apple and Samsung tablets. The display, speakers and thin design are strong. Only the preinstalled shortcut apps bother her. GBox, however, is a third-party app.

The Huawei ecosystem is intact and ready for everyday use in 2025. With the laptop, earbuds, smartwatch, and tablet there are hardly any limitations. The smartphone, because of missing Google services and high prices, is more for enthusiasts who accept workarounds.
