How do you use face-to-face translation on the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro?
In short
In the Soundcore app, choose face-to-face translation and both languages, put in the buds and speak. The other person sees the translation on your smartphone or hears it read aloud.
Step by step
- Open the Soundcore app and choose face-to-face translation.
- Choose the two languages.
- Put the buds in your ears and say what you want to say.
- The other person sees the translation in their language on the smartphone display, and can have it read aloud if they like.
- The other person then speaks into the smartphone themselves, and you hear the translation through the buds. You can read along on the smartphone.
With the Liberty 5 Pro Max, the other person can use the case with the large display instead of the smartphone. The case display then asks you whether you want to start the translation. Jen had expected everything to run locally in the case on the Pro Max. That’s not the case, though: The smartphone has to be with you and the translation function has to be open in the app.
