Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold

What does Jen say about the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold?

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is an extremely successful upgrade over its predecessor, with a good form factor, a big inner display, strong AI, and 7 years of updates. At a €1,899 RRP, though, it is too expensive, and the outer display bezels and battery are not top-notch.

Pros

  • Normal form factor, usable like a regular smartphone even when closed
  • 8-inch OLED inner display, the largest among foldables, with slim bezels
  • Both displays up to 2,700 nits bright
  • Strong AI and very good camera software
  • High-quality design, good speakers, 7 years of updates

Cons

  • Far too expensive at a €1,899 RRP
  • Thick bezels on the outer display
  • Fairly small battery at 4,650 mAh
  • No stylus support
  • 257 g, heavier than the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Honor Magic V3

Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold

What does Jen say about the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold?

After three months, Jen remains torn: the Pixel 10 Pro Fold impresses with IP68, Pixel Snap, the wide outer display and clean software. Against that stand the asymmetric display bezels, the slow 30-watt charging and the €1,899 RRP. You really have to want it.

Pros

  • IP68 certification: finally a foldable that is truly water- and dust-resistant.
  • Pixel Snap (Qi2): brilliant magnetic integration for accessories without an extra case.
  • Outer display format: wider design on which you can finally type properly (unlike on the Z Fold 7).
  • Software experience: pure Android that scales perfectly to the foldable display.
  • Update guarantee: 7 years of peace of mind with the latest Google features.

Cons

  • Slow charging: only 30W wired, which just isn't up to date in 2026 for a Pro model.
  • Asymmetric design: the display bezels look "like Birkenstocks with a designer dress".
  • High weight: at 43g more than the competition, it is a real heavyweight in your bag.
  • High RRP: the starting price of €1,899 is very proud compared to the competition.
